I talk a lot to the guys at Current River Marine down here in good ole SE Mo, they tell me with 2 people the Tohatsu and the Mercury are real close performance wise, when you add the 3rd or 4th person is when the Tohatsu starts shining!! And I think it’s cause of the smaller pump !!

Sounds to me like u need to check the impeller, it might have loosened up and let ur impeller drop into ur liner !!!!!

I think its a good idea ! I have told several people about this site, and they have never heard of it before !

Hey Semojetman, I have a 150 yamaha, it will need a jet but I think Fred has a used one that will fit it. I had the motor checked out and had the carbs rebuilt, they said it sounded great ! I will sell just the motor or the boat motor and trailer what ever they want. My wife wants it gone out...

My advice is to get rid of that jackplate and to set ur motor up about 1/8 to 3/16, jackplates and jets dont work well together !
