    Need Part numbers

that is the fuel pump kit, but a different carb kit, it's a rectangular shaped bowl about 3 inches x 1 inch, really all i need for the carb is the gasket for the bowl, i guess i could just get some gasket material an cut my own, does that stuff work the same as a specific gasket?

no, it does not affect the steering at all, but that's not to say that they weren't tightened to much and are not working properly, on the top one, it looks like a lockwasher inside the hole, and i've been able to back it out a about 1/4 turn but then gets stuck, I think i need to figure out...

steering on a 1970 Wards Sea King 6hp

there is a zerk fitting there, and 2 plug screws similar to the ones for your lower unit oil to go, do they serve the same purpose for grease? I'm assuming that there is a ton of dried up grease inside here, do i need to take it all apart and clean it out, or will continuing to put grease in...

    Needle sticking???

Figured it out...there is a small wire, almost likes cotter pin that hooks to the bottom of the needle and loops through a hole in the hinge part of the float, mechanically linking the needle to the float, really genius in its simplicity, and I felt dumb for not thinking of it myself.

    Needle sticking???

Are the technical instructions for a "***** slap" in the owners manual? lol just kidding, mine is a gravity fed fuel tank, and does it even when it's off the motor and completely dry, could that still be the problem?

    Needle sticking???

I have a 53' evinrude 3hp and it seems that the float needle is sticking, when I rebuild the carb I replaced the needle and seat and the new one had what looks like a rubber tip,I'm assuming that's not a problem since it and the seat came together...I thoroughly cleaned the varnish from both but...
