Has anyone here run a 2 HP outboard on a Crawdad?
If so, .. how did it do?
Would 2 Horses push that little hull up into the 7 -9 mph range?
Thanks All.
J.

Yeah,
I've seen You-Tube videos on both ends of the spectrum, ... from barely over trolling speeds on a 1236 (real similar size & shape to the Crawdad) to nearly planing a narrow beam 14!
Even saw one with a 2.6hp on a Pelican Intruder 12 - (next evolution of the Crawdad) and they actually claimed 10-12mph, (alone with nearly empty boat, and then 5-7mph with two people and fully loaded). (Considering the Intruder is the very same hull shape and made of the same material, - I was hopeful).
I'm wanting to get several real life examples. And hopefully with the same general size and weight flat-bottom hulls, ... because comparing a displacement hull to a flat planing hull is like comparing Apples to Oranges.
