7/1 Canal chunk

Fished the canal 4-8PM. Slow going w/ breezy conditions most the afternoon, water temps 80-84 degrees, stained too. Ran up to the turnpike & 295 and more or less drifted much of the way down runnin to some other spots too. Wind was a pain in the a$$ today tryin to pitch pads & keep the boat in line to give my dad equal opportunity at the pads. :wink: Ended up w/ this nice chunk & a smaller keeper w/ a FAT lil belly. Both caught on PTL craw d-voueres. Also threw a BB in glimmer shad to yield no takers. Still a beautiful day out. 8)
