Aluminum Baitwell Painting

My 1986 Mirrocraft (Northport Troller) has a 15 gallon Aluminum Livewell. Inside the well, It has slightly oxidized and stained over the years. My thought was to use Rust Oleum Self etching Primer and Epoxy paint inside. My intention is to paint it white or light blue to increase the visibility inside (I am installing a light inside). Any thoughts or experience with this type of project. I would appreciate suggestions.
