I was stationed in jax for a couple of years and we made a few trips to st augustine. Beautiful place, I really enjoyed it. You didnt happen to check out the fountain of youth did you? I fed squirels by hand there. By the way, dont try to feed the Emu by hand. I learned that the hard way. **** Emu drew blood. Good laugh though. :LOL2:

Made quite a few trips to St. Augustine years ago, as I was stationed at Mayport NAVSTA, '73-'75. Met my first wife there (Jax Beach area), and her and both of my sons (34 and 31 yrs old now) have lived just outside of St. Augustine for a number of years now. Never did checkout the Fountain of Youth, but did visit Ripley's Museum a couple of times. :)
