how fast for 9.9 johnson?

i have a 1432 alumnum flatbottom, i have a 1978 9.9 johnson, i weigh around 185, had about 2 gallons of gas, a battery and a trolling motor in it and my gps said topspeed was 17mph, does this sound about right?

Wow!!!! That is pretty good. My Fisher 1710 with a 40 hp Force with me and a partner and our gear only does about 29 mph or so.
