Finally got it home. A 1979 1648 Fisher Marine. Boat looks like it's in good condition, but the trailer on the other hand needs a lot of work. Looking forward to starting on build.

Looks like a nice, straight rig you got there. Will be following this one. What mods you thinking and what motor you got?

Thanks for nice comment. I plan on building front deck, with storage , rear deck with livewell, side console, adding plywood to decks ( floors). Right now I have a 28 hp Johnson. I think I have enough area to build rod box and still have "moving around room". I have aluminum for framing the casting decks., rod box, and etc. Going to start with cleaning it up, previous owner stripped boat, planning to build it himself, lost interest, my good luck, I gave him $325.00 for everything, he just wanted it gone. I advertised on Craigslist for a 14ft, and he e-mailed me and asked " how about a 16ft". My jaw hit the ground when I went to see the rig. Like I said before, trailer needs more work than boat.

Sounds like you got a hell of a deal. Must be living right:)

Good luck with it and look forward to seeing it come back to life.
