I've been lurking here for a few weeks and maybe had the most lucky day of my life last weekend. My grandpa gave me a boat I didn't even know he had for free. So now I'm off and running. The boat is a 1957 Studebaker (different than the car company) 14' V bottom boat. I've never seen one like it. Its got 2x2" ribs down the entire boat, which I assume will allow me to take the seats out if I decide to deck it and not have to worry about it being too flimsy. Its rated for a 25hp motor but currently has a 1959, 5.5hp evinrude on it at the moment. Still kinda reading around on here and coming up with ideas for the boat. I plan on starting at the trailer and moving up from there. Hopefully get this thing back into great shape.
Never posted a pic on here before so I'm hoping this works.
Thanks for any ideas, comments, or advice.
