Just a quick question on rear seat placement. I removed my rear seat brackets and covered the holes because I plan to put in a rear pedestal seat, but now I'm not sure how far off the transum to place the seat. Also a consideration is the new Tahatsu motors tillers are 4 inches longer. Can someone or everyone give me a range?

From the inside edge of my transom to the center of my seat post hole is 23". It seems like a comfortable distance. I have a deck all the way to the transom from my rear seat. If I was going to move it I would make it about 29", but it's not something on the to do list yet.

thanks edrow, 23" to 29" is a good place to start> I probably should stop in at a dealer with tape measure. :)
