I'm going to make this as convoluted as possible, with very little effort on my part.
I want to be able to switch between two 12 v. batteries on the water, but still charge with a single bank charger.
I'm running two 29DC series in parallel to a MK 55 Endura. I have a Cabelas single bank 12 v. charger wired in. I'm wanting to change this by adding a selector switch, to use one battery, then the other. The way it is now, I'm drawing from both at the same time. The batteries are identical and just purchased.
I guess what I'm wanting to know is:
1.Has anyone done this?
2.Is it possible?
3.If possible, could you draw a schematic? (not asking much)
4.Will the selector switch throw things off?
What I use now
