Im consideeing selling my boat. Its pretty much finished. And im just slowly working my way up to a big tin. I wanna biy some more small boats since i enjoy the building as much as i do the fishing. Ive got this boat/trailer aswell as another 15/16' bass boat trailer to fund my next projects

first off do you think i should sell it as is? or as an electric reservoir rig and sell the jonhson seperately?

14' gamefisher
johnson 9.9 runs perfect
Transom/bow mount trolling motors
Lowrance elite 4x DSI
everstart marine battery
bilge pump
seasense switch panel
6gal gas tank
Storage/decking etc..

What do you guys think? Either sell now or wait till next spring... but id really like to start building on another..

Wiring isnt finished on the minnkota yet btw. Thats why it looks messy.. trailer also needs a coat of paint before selling

You did a nice job on this rig. I would first try to sell it as a complete package. You can always sell the OB separately if circumstances and selling price dictate. And I would price it at the top of the range for similar rigs in your area. You might be able to use the motor on the next project.

Thanks guys, id be pretty happy to get 2500-3000 out of it. Ill probably pretty up the trailer once i get back in town and list it

Anybody else have other thoughts on what to list it for?

just guessing but the motor looks mid to late 80's with a pretty new mk edge and an older mk on the transom. nice set up! i like the layout. around here(omaha ne) id list it for 2,500-3,000 grand and be happy taking no less than 2,000. here that motor if in good cosmetic and running condition would fetch 5 or 6 hundred by itself. im guessin you got the bow mount for about 5 or 6 hundred new. so even if you just sold the boat for 1,000 or so you could still a 1,000 or better for the motors.. id list it for 3,000 grand and see what happens and probally take any offer 2,000 or better. also id wait till spring, you will probally sell it easier cuz people r gonna want a boat more at that time, at least thats what i think...good luck

I would not pain the trailer unless it has significant rust on it. What's important are working lights. Everyone hates working on trailer lights.
