I am going to replace my house deck this summer, it has 2x 6 in. on it now, should I go with 2x8? I plan on using galvanized screws to hold it down, would the 2x 8 start to curl up after a while? The deck is 14 x25 FT, thanks!

i always used 2x4's, bumped next to each other. time and weather will shrink the boards, and create gaps. if you space them out, your spaces will grow over time and be to large.. my 2 cents! good luck.

The wider the board you use, the more likely it is to start cupping. And if you'll pay attention to the growth rings viewed at the ends of the board you can orient your boards (during installation) so that the edges will cup/curl downward instead of upward.
