None of the men were wearing life jackets. At the time of the accident, the water level was about 5 feet higher than average, flowing fast at a temperature of about 40 degrees.

The search is expected to continue today until nightfall around 8 p.m.

Just a reminder - wear your PFD, especially if you are fishing in the cold and on a flooded river

With the new mustang style self inflatable vests out now there is no reason not to be wearing a vest.
Springtime on the Delaware river is treacherous and should be treated with respect, that these 3 guys did not have. I hope that none of the brave people searching for the bodies do not get hurt .

This also makes me think about all the work on boat mods. here on tinboats. Please be careful when adding decking to a small boat that could make it top heavy most of these boats are safe until we go cutting things out and replacing the with extra weight and disregarding the weight limit plates..
