How did yall like that race? everyone was like....he is dominate.. he will beat the field by at least 3 lengths. I guess not! :D :D :D the funny thing is that when the race was over. all the ppl were like... HE SUKED!! well the horse that beat him was like 38-1 odds. the trainer of that horse has now beaten 2 horses trying to go for the Triple Crown. Smarty Jones and now Big Brown.

I would really like to see a horse win the triple crown (I think it would be great for the sport).... however I am glad it wasn't big brown. His trainer was so cocky and full of himself it made me sick! As a coach I would love to face opposing teams that are so over confident. Whatever sport and no matter how good an athlete/horse is there are never any guarantees.

From what I heard the jockey didnt let the horse run, they say the way the horse was shaking its head in the first 1/4 mile that he was being held back and didnt like it and when it was time to run he was spent from holding back. Big Brown was bred for this long race, these long races are in his blood line. I think if he were allowd to stay on the post and run behind the winner he would have been o.k. The jockey shut the horse down when he saw he didnt have a chance to win, what about the people that had money on him, he could have came in 3rd.

ya the jockey did the right thing. they said the jockey was asking the horse to go...he just didnt. if he forced him to go. he could have ended up like that filly in Church Hill downs. (that was a bad day) :( :( :( :(

no stediod shot. Big Brown was not due for his next shot until this Thursday. Plus he had dirt in his face. All of his races he broke cleanly and had an easy trip (path) on the back straightaway he was bumped and had to actually fight. Its the same thing that happened to War Pass. But they found out early about this. So no triple crown run.

All in all it would not have mattered Casino Drive would have won.
