Title help, searched....

So I am awaiting to hear back from va game and fish.

I am looking at buying a 18ft grumman and 90hp johnson and trailer. Title for nothing. The guy who has it now bought from a friend from a friend. The original owner is a still contactable. He had never got the title because the dealer he bought the boat from went out of business... the title has a lean on it but no way to get paper work is what I am told.

What do you guys think. If all else fails its a 98 johnson 90hp running so to me thats probley worth a couple grand...

wow sounds possible, I knot the guy who has it now said something about mailing a letter to the company who sold it, this makes sense cause its in the instructions.. That seems like the hardest part... Finding the company mailing to them and waiting for the returned letter since they are no longer there.

Company? no mail the certified letter to the last owner - re-read the instructions

And don't pay a penny until all the paperwork is good.
