whats the best way to mount an anchomate on the front of my mod-v? it was easy on the back on the corner suports but cant figure out a good way on the front with the odd angle and the deck 3" below the rub rail. getting closer to having this thing done. one more lid to carpet, wireing seats and a little trailer work.... and to STOP RAINING ALREADY!
 
Make a 3 inch high bracket mount out of wood or metal? my front mount trolling motor has a metal bracket that sets it on the same level as the top rail. I'm assuming ( don't you just hate that word?) that you have a deck below the area that you want to mount this on? fi not could you mout a bracket off the ribs? hard to say without seeing the spot.
