Can you use the marine carpet for home depot?

The only marine carpet my local Home Depot and Lowes carry are looped/berber. Basically, if you allow a trebble hook to come in contact with it, you better have a pair of pliers handy. You definitely want a short cut-pile type of carpet for a fishing boat.

Do like Troutman suggested and buy from Capri carpets. You can request samples from their website. They claim that you can only request two samples, but I asked for about six different styles and colors. It wasn't until after submitting my request that I found their clause stating you can only order two. I figured the worst that would happen is that they would only send me two. Well, they sent me more like twelve different swatches! Good company.
