Ever Heard of a 1965 Texas Maid????

Post by gboat » 09 Feb 2012, 17:11

I recently acquired this boat after doing some engine work for a neighbor of mine.
I had no idea anything about the boat. After calling the Marine Police, I found out that
the boat has been previously Registered as a 1965 Texas Maid.

The boat has Mercury Inline 6 85hp on it. The motor controls etc all look original to this boat.

If anyone has any information on this company, the boat, what it would have originally been rigged out in or what line this boat is Fiesta, Impala, Etc?

Debating on keeping it and restoring it, or just scrapping it.

Suggestion??

Thanks

Gene

I don't have any information on the boat but I think with little ok a lot of TLC it could be a really nice fishing machine
