Deep Vee is simply that, a V shaped hull bottom from bow to stern. Semi V, hmm lets see, imagine a fat version of the front end of a canoe, that transitions into a flat bottom as you move toward the stern, with rounded up edges where the floor meets the sides or soft chines. I wouldn't try to classify a mod v as there seem to be a few variations of what some consider a mod v. When you get right down to it, I guess the same thing can be said about semi v. :lol: The best way I know to describe it is that if it's a jon boat and not a deep v, or a semi v, or a flat bottom, it must be a mod v. :mrgreen: And here is a look at Trackers Deep V and Mod V.
