Range of my boat

I have a 14 ft monark. It has a 6hp older model Johnson tiller with a total of 7 gallons in gas. I was wondering what the range would be with this set up. Btw it will be loaded with about 450lbs including gear and 2 ppl.

Impossible to say really, depends on quite a few variables like wind and current among other things.

If you have 7 gallons of gas, I wouldn't go any further than 3 gallons would take you... leaving 4 gal. for the return trip.

If you have a 6 hp. motor, you should be able to run that motor nearly all day.

The basic formula says .6 of a gallon at WOT so about 11 hours give or take.
