Also - If you install the deck and then carpet, if you have a problem and have to remove the deck, the carpet has to be removed first. If you carpet first, then install, you can just remove the securing screws and the deck is out.

Before installing but after making sure deck material is perfect. Dont find out you need to trim a little after the carpet is on the part.

This! Make sure when cut decking you allow for clearance for carpet on all edges. Don't make it too tight.tsaints1115 said:
