I’m doing research for flooring ideas. Though I love the look and feel of carpet I’m thinking of trying something new. I’ve re-carpeted 3 boats and really not looking for a 4th time around. I know some have used Durabak non-slip. How do you like it? How has it held up and has there been any fading in the color? I plan on installing a floor with wood, seal it and the covering has yet been decided. I’m sure I’ll change my mind 5x before I get to that point but I’m a research nut.

Thanks
Mark

I used durabak on a houseboat deck and on a fiberglass skiff front deck. You have to get the UV resistant version, but it is a really good product. It is very grippy and works well and easy to apply.

Never used it on a tinboat but I imagine it is the same.
