Hey guys~an acquaintance of mine told me he was looking to sell his Lund Resorter (didn't know he even had a boat) and after a brief Google search, I couldn't find any info. Have any of you heard of this boat? I'll keep looking, but would appreciate any help/photos you might have.

Cheers,
Rob

Never heard of a resorter, but Lunds are excellent boats. 'Bout the best riveted tinny hull made in my opinion.

hey bassboy1, thanks for the response. I hadn't either...and the model failed the "google" test. Think I'll need to have a look...I'm curious now. I've never owned a Lund, but hope to one day. A 20' Alaskan is my dream boat right now.

Thanks again,
Rob

Thanks for the response guys. I'm looking forward to getting a few photos of this boat as I can find nothing online about it. (photos/year of manufacture/specs.) The owner of the one I'm interested in thinks it's an early 80s model, but the only boats I've found any reference to were in the 1975-1977 range. Also, he told me that is has a console, but no trailer. Need to decide whether or not I should get another fixer-upper. The Crestliner I have has plenty of mods. w/o it's owner  even addressing the minor leak issues. Any thoughts? lol

Hey Bob, thanks for the response, but I don't think that IS a resorter. The text briefly mentions it, but I'm pretty sure that is just a stock (newer) photo from Lund's lineup. In fact, having looked around, it would seem that they were simply called S-18 in some cases or at least, from what I can tell. Most of the S-18 boats I've found online kind of jive with the time frame the "Big Resorter" boats were made, check this out; https://www.boats.com/listing/forum/images.jsp?entityid=104096991&galleryBack=%2Flisting%2Fboat_details.jsp%3Fentityid%3D104096991

An image search on Google under "Lund S-18" found several boats that looked very similar. I've been promised a photo of the one that I may have an opportunity to buy...but I have one "fixer-upper" already! lol

I'll keep you posted.

One is never enough. MBS (multiple boat syndrome) is a great thing.
