Do you have a front bench now? If so, fishing off the front deck will be like fishing off the front bench. Climb up on it when your out on the water and see how stable it is. Stability has a lot to do with bottom width.

Usually anything under 40 inch floor is tippy.Under 36 inch becomes unstable.

I'd think a 10' would be lacking on the stability but if you keep things low it may be alright. I don't think I would do any elevated decking or high seats. J.M.O.
