How about a pair of them on a 21' Seabird at WOT for 500 hours (no failures), then torn down and inspected, then 500 more hours, then removed and replaced with virtually no failures? When being developed, that engine was almost bulletproof. It didn't make enough horsepower/cu. in. to hurt itself in testing, the gearcase was designed for up to 140hp so it was living easy as well. They were excellent runners, had the good ignition, incredible bottem end torque, and by then had the better mid-section and trim systems. Would say that you have found probably one of the best V-block engines ever built.
