Solenoid problems???

Sometimes my motor wont start when I turn the key but if I tap on the little black box (called a solenoid I believe) under the cover it will start. You think I have a bad solenoid assembly?
 
Make sure you check connections and make sure they are clean too. Sounds very possible it could be the solenoid starting to go out completely. Solenoids are cheap and never hurts to have a spare.
