Want a power increase? 1984 Chrysler Sea king 9.9 hp

I cant find a reasonably priced 15-25hp for my 14' richline, Is there a way to increase the power on my 9.9 hp motor? I heard a 15hp carb swap on the johnson/evinrude but is it that simple on the Monkey Wards sea king motor. The boat gets up on plane fine, I am just looking for a little more power. Thanks :wink:

Probably nobody here knows for sure. You may get a response over at iboats in the "other outboard brands" section.
I suspect it would be a simple carb change but can't say for sure.
