If your engine is a long shaft then the tube is supposed to be there. Almost looks like the tube is damaged at the top? Hard to see as the background is the same color as the tube. If this is the case then you are going to need a replacement water pump assembly, not just an impeller. That part should come with it in an OEM kit.

Sorry about the picture. Yes the tube is broken. Im new to this and not sure how to install this so im looking for any instructions that i can find. I did order a new kit from iboats.com and it did not come with the new tube. How would I go about finding out if its a short or a long shaft?

a short shaft is between 15-17 inches long, a long shaft is bigger i just dont know what exact measurements..possibly 20-21
