Dimensions of a 250-300 hp outboard hood?

Anybody know the dimensions of one of those motors on the top?

I'm wanting to use the covers that bps sells for another project and would like to find out how big they are before I buy one. Bps doesn't list the dimensions and couldn't find dimensions on the mercury site, I'll keep looking though at the other ones. Just thought someone might know off the top of their head.

I got a 200 hp,, its a 90* V6 I can give the dimentions for it.

these are the measurements of the actual motor,, not a cover

height is about 24"

widest width at the btm is 23"

and from front to back is 30"

Thanks for the reply! Reason I'm asking is because I built a "custom" boat seat for my not so petite self and I'm looking for options for a cover for it. My fishing buddy says it looks like a seat from a bus so the standard seat covers aren't going to work I'm afraid. lol

what about a BBQ pit cover? I seen thoes in just about every hardware store or any place that sells grills.

I thought of those but the motor covers are on sale at bps for $20. They have me hooked on that rewards point card! I'm trying to see how much I'll be able to get off of a fishfinder by the summer. lol
