Steal of a deal in Ma

Here's a posting on craigslist for a Johnson 9.9 for $75. It looks pristine and I'm guessing would be a good deal for any tin boater.

Not quite sure all of his info is correct, as it looks like a 20" shaft rather than a 25". Not 100% on the year either.

6-8 years ago I used to find outboards similar to that in the $50-$200 range on craigslist somewhat regularly. I would jump in my truck buy it and then turn around and flip em on ebay for $500-$800 depending on the condition. I could always triple my money in parts if I couldn't get them going.
For the most part those days are gone around here. Guys have caught on and are asking way too much for them.
I still find a few good buys a year but nothing like it used to be.
