Was having trouble with the 25HP four stroke Merc pretty much since i bought it. After several trips to the dealer which was a waste of time and money I brought it to Jimmy B who got it straightened out. Found this in the fuel line which was only about 4 years old.

I'd take you replaced the line. A bud of mine has a 19' Searay. Kept have issues with clogged carb and fuel filter. He was determined that it was trash in the tank and /or crappy gas. Talked him into changing the line , no problems since. Guess that E10 fuel will eat up some stuff.

I was also ready to take the tank out. I replaced lines and squeezer ball.
