Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Pinion Gears for Johnson 30 HP engines?
They look identical and both fit my drive shaft. No part number on the part itself and I did purchase the gear set used on Ebay (so maybe it IS the same part?)
I have a 1992 ish model Johnson. Drive shaft is 328316 which says to use Pinion 0328313
0328313 up to 2005
0351147 2005 and newer
and I did see where in 2004 they noted that the part number changed?
