    man enough to tell

Boy do I know that feeling. It has happened a few times in my life. Not the swimming for the boat but hoping no one was around. I have had 1 close call this year while launching in the river. I put my anchor in the bed of the truck and loop it into a ratchet strap. When I float it off I...

    good smallmouth bass lure ???

Hey guys you may not believe this but I have been fishing for probably 25 years and I very seldom use lures. About the only time is when I'm trout fishing I like to use Joe's Flies or Hus Lures. I mainly fish the river here at home and when I fish it, I have one of those little lure boxes...

    Fixed to Portable

I bought some Velcro from Wally World it was back in the craft section. I put it on my paddle and it has been holding up surprisingly well. Even the one that goes into the water. It has 3m glue on it and is super sticky. So far so good!

2 Stroke Motor...not using much oil

You'll hear lots of bad stories about automatic oil injection. I have never had one on a boat motor but did have one for my quad. Everyone I talked to said do away with it. I talked to an old tech and he said they are basically bullet proof as long as you keep the tank clean so it don't clog...

    Poisen oak remidies

Hey Loggerhead, I bought some stuff at wallyworld too called technu. It is a wash that you use when you know you have come in contact with it. I think it cost a few bucks but something to keep in the pickup, or boat. It also had a bottle of calagel that works to dry it out. It does an...

    Poisen oak remidies

I got the shot three years in a row when i was a kid. seemed to take care of it for several years after. I just started to get it again a few years back, and have had to get Prednasone (steroid pack) for it. This year a buddy got me a product called Rhus Tox. It was three vials that I had to...

    ? Replacing Seal

Can you just use regular gasket material or is there a special kind since it will be underwater? I seen on the parts breakdown there is a gasket rope that a shop would have on a spool and you could buy it by the foot. Not sure if I can get that anywhere local or not but I will start checking...

    Fuel filter

I have one inline to the fuel pump. It is just screen and wouldnt stop small particles. I was thinking of putting one on like we run on our atv's. They seem to work well and I havent had any cause problems. The see thru ones are nice you can keep an eye on them and tell if they are getting...

    ? Replacing Seal

My 72 Sportwin 9.5 is leaking oil from the propshaft. I ordered a new seal and it should be here in a couple days. My question is how do I get the old one out and put the new one in. Do I have to take anything apart other than take the prop off? How do I get the seal out and do I need any...

    Took the wife fishing.

Sorry to hear that. I dont know how to get your wife interested in fishing. I think they either love it or hate it. Maybe try going in the daytime, maybe she can read a book or something. My wife never fished a day in her life until we got together, and now she often out fishes me. I...

    Loved it but,

My wife and I were just saying how she would like to go see a Pirates game this summer. Must be that Spring is in the air. We are less than an hour from the city and still havent been to any of the new stadiums. They charge an arm and a leg these days with tickets, parking, food and drinks I...

    1448 mod opinions

x2 on that. Look for a used one on Craigs List you should be able to find one for 1/3 the price of new. Do what you can to it as you get the money. Try to put some away too so that once you have a little bit stashed away, sell the one and go get what you want. More than likely you're gonna...
