    Cork Flooring

I'm not too concerned with any discoloration. Cork flooring typically has wood backing, which doesn't work well in wet conditions. What I found is cork panels that are 1/4" thick. It runs about $2.50/sf. In my head, it sounds like a perfect plan. Its water and mold resistant, stays cool, it...

    Cork Flooring

I've been modifying an old 16 ft jon boat and pretty much have it finished up. I opted to eliminate any wood or carpet and used all aluminum for the deck and floor. I didn't want to be replacing material any time soon. My only problem is... the aluminum flooring gets freaking hot when I'm...

    PVC Decking?

Thanks Rich,I like the flange idea. I figured some prices for some 1.5" PVC pipe and all the connections, for what I would call some pretty stout framework. It doesn't appear, that I'll save any money by using the PVC pipes versus aluminum for the framework (approx $40 more). The pvc...

    PVC Decking?

I was thinking of using pvc pipes. I thought about gluing caps on vertical legs to screw an aluminum deck into. Any suggestions?

    PVC Decking?

I know it's an old post, but thought I'd see if anyone has come up with a good plan to use pvc to build the frame work of a deck. I still wanna use aluminum for decking, just thought I could lessen the blow on my wallet by using pvc for frame work.
