Navy - 1966-1972. Tin Can (destroyers) Sailor all the way. Two Med. cruises, Shakedown in Guantanamo, Nam & North Atlantic. Got out as a 1st class Bos'un.
You done good !! Looks like a nice find. You'll find a lot of mods for vee's & semi-vees. I started mine but haven't finished yet.

Good luck.
What do you need it for? For Joe Average to trim his 1/4 acre, Craftsman will work fine for years. If you have serious work then you should spend more & get something gooder.
I learned the hard way to keep it open in the summer. I had to replace a tank that wound up looking like a basketball & wouldn't sit right in the boat.
Old age & a bad shoulder got to me. i'm looking at a crossbow for this season here in Pa. I've done a little research & hope to get out & look this weekend. I'm looking at Barnett, Horton or Parker. I like the Excaliber's but just a little costly for me.
My yellow lab has to have his ears cleaned once a week. Always has. I use a cleaner that I get on-line from www.drsfostersmith.com
It's called Ear-Clens & comes in a liquid and pre-moistened pads. Pretty inexpensive.
Wrist rocket works O.K. You have to get within 10 or 12 yards, though.
Aquilla makes a .22 that only has primer in it, no powder. These things are really quiet, fairly accurate out to 15 or 20 yards.
I'm up at 5 a.m. & I always have two packs of the instant oatmeal during the week before leaving for work. Yogurt or fruit at 10 a.m. I'm in the office about 60% of the time, though, so I don't burn up as many calories as some people.
Looks good. You did a fine job. Can you give me some info about your anchor set-up? I can't tell what you're using in the front. And is that just a ring on the side? Ever use it in any current?
Thanks
I have a Doel-Fin on my '93 johnson 9.9. It made a huge difference. Gets up quicker and stopped the "porpoising". I recommend it. There are a few different brands out there and I guess they will all work O.K.
Just got back from Cabela's with my new trolling motor. It's a Minn-Kota Power Drive V2 50# thrust. I wanted something with a small footprint and a small foot controller because of the small front deck on my deep-vee. The manual isn't clear and there is a tag on the wire that says to install a...
I bought a roll of velcro type material at one of the home stores. It has the hook on one side & the loop on the other. Just wrap it around & it sticks to itself.
Nice job! Very clean looking. Is there much of a weight or cost difference between plywood panels & the high density plastic that you used? The plastic has a couple of obvious advantages.
