john hay is just out side of salem IN,about 100 acres maybe bigger.i had three nice keepers and 12 under 14 inch.water was clear and 79 degrees.all were caught on ZOOM centipede w/with red flake texas riged.

has any body been using the top water rage shad?i was at w/mart and the only colors they had were black with red flake,white and smoky shad i got the smoky besause it was the flashyest with silver flake.i have real clear water and lots of sunshine.i have'nt used it enough to judge it.

checked with DNR it's dam work and killing off the shad.there going to start draining it this week fisherman are allowed to walk in and fish until 11/01/2008.twice the daily limit and no size limit,i think its going to be a while until recovery.but what you going to do ?this will be a good time...

hey zum,all you do is slice it thin(not paper thin) dip in buttermilk than flower and get to fryin.you can also do it with zucchini and egg plant but with egg plant use olive oil to fry.

i got up early and picked enough italian,sweet banana and salsa peppers to freeze 1 GAL each, diced and frozen were up to 3GAL each and more on the grow.we have about 3GAL of sliced green tomatos.it's all worth it come winter though.love my fried green tomatos.

whent to starve hollow,wich by the way is going to be drained this winter(why i'm not sure)but any way i get there and DNR has a notice posted that you can have twice the daily limit wich would be 10 fish and no size limit.i fished from 4:00PM to sunset and not a bite just a big fat skunk.this...

hit the water about 6:30 am on a lake i've known about for years and today was the first time i ever fished it, caught fish all the way up to 2:30 with 2 nice keepers it's nice when a plan comes together.
