I have no specialized knowledge. I constantly read about problems caused by collapsed liners in fuel lines on this and other forums. For that reason, right or wrong, I've changed my mind about this. I won't be using gray fuel line regardless of who made it. Why take the chance.
I hear ya, that is why I am looking to replace mine before next season. Carefull inspection shows mine is starting to come apart. Probably good for another season, mabey two as the liner is just starting to come loose, but why take the chance?? Replacement hose is far cheaper than a repair bill....

Dayco fuel hose is excellent. It's a braided black hose and holds up well. But I haven't seen it as much as I used to. I wonder if Covid got to them...
