First off gotta say really liking the new reel(curado) and rod.
I was throwing a fluke with size 4 hook,no other weight and not 1 backlash.I think I had 2 brakes on,I pushed down on the plastic looking brakes,I hope thats all I had to do.

Anyways,fished from about 5 till 10pm.
Temp in the 80's,alittle breezy, cold front coming in.
I wanted to fish the lily pads but had a hard time finding any.
Finally found a sparse patch and the smallies were there.
Landed 10 in about an hour, from about a pound to over 4.
The 2 big ones(20+"s), I landed on a spinnerbait but the others, all on a baby bass fluke.

Landed a few more along the shoreline but none to big, only 2 landed at dark on a buzzbait.
The reels rigged with 30lbs power pro and a 2',20lbs fluro leader.
It's past 2am now,gotta go bed.

Awesome report!

I might have to pick up one of those 50's for my custom rod I had built 5 years ago that sits and collects dust.

+1 on the report.

Jim...you'd love it. I have 4 o f the 200Es and one 50E. I use the 50 on a worm rod that's a 7' medium. I also use it to throw topwater and lighter tackle.

Thanks fellas.
I want one of those Go Pro cameras.
Then some type of editing thing(software) for the videos.
I really want to zoom in on some jumps or maybe even slow motion, when they jump and miss a lure.
Things always looks bigger, when it's live on the water...fish jumps, missed fish, even the fish themselves.
