Whats the best way to measure oil for mixing gas? I usuall buy the gallon jugs of oil at walmart and mix in a 6 gallon can but I need to find a better way to meter my oil.

I bought a clear plastic measuring cup and drew lines on it in black marker for 50:1 Fill cup to approprate line with oil, add to tank, fill with gas.

My buddy has a 2 stroke measuring bottle. Shows different mixture ratios for specific amounts of gas. Just pour your oil in the bottle to the ratio and level of your choosing and add it to the gas.

Unfortunately, I have no clue where he got it from, but I'm sure someone has to sell them somewhere.

i buy quicksilver by the gallon and keep a small quick silver bottle in the boat to measure with.

I bought a bottle something like this with 2-stroke in it (probably at Wally World) and then just kept refilling it from a gallon bottle. Had it for years now.

I bought a syringe with the mix ratios on it from Walmart - I would not again. It is inconvenient and slow. It is probably meant for chainsaws.

I saw this last nite at walmart, kinda wishing I bought it now, I think it was $1.99

That's what my buddy uses. Quick and easy mixing.

The boat shop I used had them and I also saw them at Walmart the other day.

Sure makes it easy, if you only need a partical tank.

I add the oil, then the Sta-Bil, at the station I put a little gas in it and slosh it around and pour it in the tank.

this is what i use and love it, any place that sells motocross stuff has what they call a ratio rite, used one of those for years before i bought the other one.

i use an old glass measuring cup out of the house that now stays in the building lol

use the ol count the seconds method. pour gas for 50 seconds and pour oil for one second... or ratios there of. 25seconds to 1/2 second.

joking!
