Hello, I have an old Coleman crawdad that is missing the tubular support frame. Boat floats but doesn't track well being a Little wobbly. Currently just plywood in the bottom with pedestal seats and a piece of aluminum angle top center mounted to metal top rail. Help if possible. Thanks in advance.

Main supports on a coleman crawdad I believe are an aluminum rim around the top, aluminum tube stringers that sit in the grooves of the floor, and the aluminum tubing seat supports that are run down to the stringers. Are you saying that the floor and seat tubes are both missing?

I think adding in supports in the way the boat was designed would be a good idea and help some of the issues you're describing, but keep in mind that crawdads can be wobbly boats that don't track well period and no amount of framing will fix that.

Here's the best picture I found of how the tubing is laid out.
