You cant really step were the light socket is, I would think leaving that little cut out off would be fine, and using a symetrical piece on each side..

Well If anyone is interested, you can get the tape in different sizes at Grainger industrial supply. You have to have an account with them (which I do).

I'm going with some sandstone colored tape. 2 sheets to do my boat the way it was is $26.

Guessing you went with the 34" x 16" item on pg 5 of the catalog link you posted ? Using two pieces like that is workable for me. . Post some pics when you get it mounted on your rig.

They make a coating thats non skid that you can buy at wal mart you just paint it on.It has sand or something mixed in.

Have thought about the non-skid paint, but decided against it. Nothing wrong with it, just didn't want to mess with it.
