The spawning peacock bass are every where.
The largest we've caught so far was 3 1/2 pounds. Nice one Milton.


Most weighed around 2 pounds. Where are all the big fish?
Guess we'll just keep looking.

It's easy to tell the male fish with that big hump on their head.

idk i dont even think we have peacock bass in jacksonville :eek: i wish we did though

Are they moving north?Wonder how cold a tempeture they can handle.
Do they spawn like other bass?

Nice looking Tucs man!!! Keep em coming!!!! Where are you located man? That looks like Lake Wilson in Hawaii.. I used to fish there all the time.

They are some big big big Peacocks (tucs)lol.. in there man. I saw one back in 2002 that was over 10-15lbs probably. The cruise right at the surface and wouldnt eat anything..... I finally caught 2 of of before I left in 2004 LOL!! Used the fish in the Wahiawa Freshwater Park alot, caught a ton of those Red Devils, and some other fish that schooled looked like a tilapia or something.....
