Seriously, I used a cheap holesaw kit, and it worked perfect because it cut the holes just slightly smaller than the OD of the PVC pipe, & I just used a drum sander on a drill to get the holes just large enough for a tight fit (had to tap them on whth a hammer) on the pipe. The only reason I used the pipe on that side was so I wouldn't have to fight trying to align the handle with both holes, this way I only have 1, then it's a straight-shot down.

WW- Next time you're at the home improvement center, check this stuff out, they make trim & brickmold out of it. It's actually somewhat flexible. I bet a guy could find lots if uses for it on his boat.
