Just in case anyone is interested, I found a place that sells marine grade plywoods and they are willing to cut it and ship small pieces if you don't need a lot. I just needed a little bit, so I purchased a half sheet and had it cut into quarters...2ftx2ft and they shipped it to me by UPS. They have great customer service so I think you can just give them a call and they'll cut what you need and ship it to you. The place is called Almquist Lumber Company. www.almquistlumber.com

If you can find exterior plywood locally with a side finished suitable for your application, it's the same as marine plywood. They both use the same adhesive between the layers, but marine plywood is supposed to be free of voids, but that's not always the real world.

They have several different varieties of marine grade plywood as well as different price ranges. the stuff they sent me seems very high quality.
