new guy with a little boat :)

Been looking around and decided to join. WOW!! what an awesome site!!

I just picked up a 14' alum v-hull. Came with a 7hp merc and a small trolling motor and a couple clamp on seats.

its all original and the trailer has been completely re done.

I want to put a floor and some storage in. Does anyone have a link to a program that will let you configure a layout for the inside of a boat? Looking at doing something simple, not to crazy because I don't want to give up to much height inside the boat because of safety reasons and having my 8 year old daughter with me.

Wecome. Some guys use program called SketchUp, I tried it but my skills are lacking. Looks like a great program for someone with computer skills.

Make sure those clamp on seats are attached and not just sitting on the bench. I wouldn't trust those at all if they are just clamped on.
