I have a 06 60hp 4s that is remote right now. Iam trying to find out if the big tiller handle for the 40,50,60 hp merc motors, will work with my 06 motor. My cowling is a different style then the 07 and newer. Here is a pic of mine.

Should if it has the cables for it. I want one for my yamaha but I don't think they are worth 6-$800
 
Well I was worried about the side of the cowling. Mine doesn't have that round area to the side for the cables to go through. It's alittle more to the front. It looks like it would work. Guess I'll have to call Mercury Thanks
