For the Mods....

I couldn't find a 'website suggestion' area, so here goes...

When I log in, I click the 'keep me logged in' box, but it doesn't keep me logged in.

Every time I bring up the site, it makes me log in. I only use the same two machines everyday/all day (same IP's).

What am I missing?

You may have your browser set to clear cookies and other website data when you close it. It’s generally a good thing to purge the trail of garbage that follows you around the internet.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree it is a good thing to purge the trail. lol

You are correct that I have my browser to clear all cookies, etc when I close out.

Thing is, I am on a car forum where even if I close out the window, next time I go to the site, I am logged in. That forum is the same exact-for lack of a better word-'brand' as this one.

It's gotta be something else in my settings. Ill have to poke around and see.

Figured it out! I had the old tin boats address in my exceptions. Put the new one in and bingo. All is right with the world again!

I didn't even know there was a new tin boats address. I always log off (unless I forget), so I guess I'm good.

I had the address saved to go directly to unread posts. I changed it to the general address instead.
