MotorGuide HVT-3600 36lb Thrust

Does anyone have experience w/ this trolling motor...any comments on it? I found one online and was thinking about picking it up.

I have had one for a number of years and still runs fine. A standard 5 Forward, 2 reverse speeds, transom mount. It takes the more common larger diameter props.

It is a metal shaft, and would not recommend for a reverse mount on a bow, in case you were thinking of that.


Correction: Just checked, I have the HVT3700. I beleive the only difference is 1lb of thrust.

Thanks for the info. I was going to transom mount it rather than on the bow
