Paint over Gluvit

I am getting ready to paint over Gluvit to avoid UV issues. It is an expoxy. Should I be using a primer on it first. If so, anyone in particular?

I've always just lightly sanded or scuffed it with a wire scrubbie then used Rust-Oleum enamels on it or other epoxies.

Like Dale, for any gluvit tht was exposed to the sun, it was just painted with enamel.
